ROYUAN Supply Chain Resilience for Steering Components
Dual-Source Raw Material Strategy
All critical materials for ROYUAN clock springs—including copper alloy strips and engineering-grade plastics—are sourced from two geographically separated suppliers. Each supplier undergoes quarterly quality audits and maintains dedicated capacity reservations for our steering component lines. This eliminates single-point failure risks while ensuring material consistency across batches, as verified by incoming inspection data logged in our QMS.
Regional Safety Stock Deployment
ROYUAN maintains pre-positioned safety stock of high-turnover steering components at partner warehouses in Rotterdam (EU) and Bangkok (SEA). Inventory levels are dynamically adjusted based on 90-day rolling demand forecasts shared by distributors. Stock is rotated every 6 months to prevent aging, and all units retain full traceability to original production batches. This reduces lead time from 4 weeks to ≤5 business days for urgent orders.
Real-Time Production Visibility Portal
Distributors with active framework agreements can access a secure portal showing live order status: raw material arrival, assembly progress, testing completion, and shipping ETA. Updates sync automatically from our MES every 4 hours. The portal also displays historical on-time delivery performance by SKU and region, enabling partners to plan inventory with confidence. No manual reporting or email chasing required.
Disruption Response Protocol
In case of port congestion, customs delays, or supplier anomalies, ROYUAN activates a predefined escalation workflow within 24 hours. Partners receive impact assessment, alternative routing options, and revised delivery commitment—all documented in a shared incident log. Post-event reviews are conducted within 10 business days to update risk mitigation plans. This protocol has been stress-tested during 3 major logistics disruptions since 2024.
Continuous Resilience Benchmarking
We measure supply chain health monthly using three KPIs: on-time delivery rate, safety stock turnover ratio, and disruption recovery time. Targets are recalibrated annually based on partner feedback and industry benchmarks. For example, after distributor input in Q1 2026, we increased SEA safety stock coverage from top 15 SKUs to top 25 SKUs. Resilience is not a static claim—it’s a managed process with visible outcomes.
